A transition is passing from one emotional state or a level in life to another. It is any event that results in a transformation or a change. It is a change from one stage to another. Everything in life changes apart from the fact that there will be a change in our lives. This change could be moving from one mental state to another, a change in status (e.g. getting married, retired or divorced).
It could be a change of physical environment (e.g. moving from a town to another, from one job to another or leaving home). Change often brings confusion, chaos, fear of unknown and fear of failure, if not appropriately planned for or dealt with. It could also be a spiritual life transition; going to the next level in your spiritual journey. A lot of transitions include initial loss which could be loss of a role, working life, partner, position or acceptance. Any significant loss makes most people feel fearful and anxious. It is normal to feel afraid. We are normally anxious when our lives are disrupted. On the positive side, these transitions give us a chance to learn about our strengths and to explore what we really want out of life.
This can be a wake up call, and time of reflection. This can also be a time of renewal new beginning and re-inventing ourselves and our lives. This will change our mindset about change. When we start to look at change like this, it becomes less scary. Imagine how better it would be, if you hired me as your Life Transition Coach!
A transition can be positive. This could be getting married, going away to college, starting a new job, moving to a new city , or giving birth to a child. Any transition whether negative or positive can lead to life altering events and situations. Even when positive they can be nerve racking, talk less of the negative ones that comes with intense pain.
A common example of transition is mid- life transition. Most transition, whether positive or negative can lead to negative emotions. These negative feelings apart from fear include anger, anxiety, confusion, numbness, self-doubt, lack of confidence and low self esteem. However, transition when managed through a Life Transition Coach like me, will lead to new possibilities and new responsibilities.
You will come out of your comfort zone and develop passion to pursue more achievements. This is where the journey begins, to bridge the gap between today and achieving your dream, to align your actions with your purpose, to go from where you are now, to where you want to be. Your path to change starts with reaching for the power within. You will fulfill your dreams if you let me coach you. Everything you need to succeed is already within you.
You may not be where you want to be, but I'm sure you're not where you used to be either. So you see my friend, you are capable of changing. We must embrace expected and unexpected changes, because without it, there is no opportunity for growth. A transition can be triggered due to a need for a lifestyle change or exploring new ideas.
Life transitions are often difficult, but they can motivate positive change. They provide us with an opportunity to assess the direction our lives are taking, a chance to grow and a chance to learn. If we let go of the old, it will become our positive new beginning.

As your Transition Coach, I have had no past history with you; hence there are no hidden agenda. My feedbacks and objectives are completely impartial. The total focus and attention is on you, your life, your problems and success, your wants and your needs. I will be your non-judgemental, objective support whose only agenda is your personal development and your success.
I will also be your confidential sounding board within a constructive and supportive relationship. What you tell me won't go around the neighbourhood. I will give you life coaching skills and practical techniques to help you learn from your experiences, build on your success and achieve your life goals. My constructive and honest feedback is aimed at helping you to accomplish your goals.
As your Transition Life Coach, I will give you regular progress reviews to ensure that you are getting the results that you want. You will learn to effectively deal with difficulties with coping skills that have been tried and tested. Learn to operate effectively in this stressful, challenging unfair and sometimes spiteful world. I will show you how to focus on and realise your goals , while evolving from the journey.
